Abruzzo has many wonderful historical towns and each one organizes interesting festivals.
One of them is "Calici di Stelle" (Goblets under the Stars) which is Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement) all around of Italy which started in 1993, among its about 1000 members there are some of the most prestigious wineries of Italy.
Promote wine culture by visiting the production sites,
Support the growth of tourism in all Italian regions with strong winemaking vocation,
Qualify the wineries tourist services and
Enhance the image as well as the economic and employment outlook of the wine areas, are a few goals of Movimento Turismo del Vino.
Wine tasting under the stars and open air shows take place in August with "Calici di Stelle" in San Martino Sulla Maruccini of Abruzzo, Italy on the past Saturday.
